I’m Kat Sturtz.
As a business life mentor and The Purgatory Relief Coach for People Who Think Marketing Is Hell, I work with struggling solopreneurs and small business owners to figure out what really has them stuck or stalled so they can implement solutions that help them rock their unique path and prosper with passion and purpose
I’m a habitually curious, bit quirky, intuitive, and creatively organized business life mentor, small business and writing/publishing consultant.
Since 2007, my primary focus has been helping writers and artists, coaches, and consultants, and other service-based professionals, who are eager to start and grow a profitable home-based business how to find more time, more money and affordable resources to rock their unique path, how to overcome obstacles and hidden barriers, and how to prosper with passion and purpose.
My business background is an eclectic mix of writing, editing and publishing, spokesperson training, farming, hospitality management, advertising sales, and business consulting and marketing services for a wide variety of non-profit organizations, as well as mainstream and small businesses, going back to 1971. In addition to being an award-winning author (aka Kathy Henderson), a featured speaker and workshop presenter, I have live radio and television experience. I’m also the founder of RockingYourPath.com, Fast Action Fridays, and the Bridges to Success programs, including Jumpstart Your Success: Home-based Business Boot Camp. Plus, I help manage my retired chef husband’s site, YouCan Cuisine.com
In addition to being a Certified Guerrilla Marketing Coach, I earned a BBA in Business Management from Northwood University (Midland, Michigan) in 2010 … at the age of 56.
On the life skills side, I’ve personally overcome many obstacles, bumps and ruts in my own path, including being medically revived three times following the birth of first child, coming out of a coma on my 19th birthday, and leaving an increasingly abusive 25 year marriage in the dead of night in 1995. Highly intuitive my entire life, I am also a Reiki Master and EFT/tapping practitioner, plus licensed minister in Michigan.
These all function under the umbrella of my business, 56 Vibes Services.
• FYI, my full last name is Henderson-Sturtz. Books and other work published prior to 2005 carry the byline: Kathy Henderson.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer-service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information.
